Hope Activity Center Vision: Hope Activity Center will be a place where the needs of our community will be met. We will partner with programs already in place, as well as creating services and offering opportunities to ensure the needs of both Port Hope and the surrounding area will be met. We are currently in the process of re-establishing a volunteer base that will make these “hopes” realities. We are excited to bring a variety of activities such as recreational activities, sporting tournaments, fitness classes, library and computer facilities, tutoring and mentoring programs, various children’s camps, a meeting point for clubs and hobby groups. Also, a place for celebration, life milestones, music and fun! Your continued help, support and ideas will lay a foundation that will give the Hope Activity Center the place where endless opportunities meet limitless possibilities to make a difference in our community. |

Hope Activity Center
A formerly operational K-12 school district in Port Hope, Michigan. Home of the Bluestars!
The Hope Activity Center in Port Hope, Michigan has the following to offer:
Indoor Workout Space: Biking machines, free weights, resistance bands, step benches, workout tapes & DVDs, two wall mounted televisions, restrooms nearby.
Science Lab: Seven large stone work stations with water.
Classrooms: A mix of traditional sitting and learning areas and open concept play space. One is a fully functioning age 6 and under learning lab/play space with many toys and games to encourage thinking, social skills and creative play.
Gym: A Regulation High School size gym. Pickle ball is played on Tuesday’s from 10am-12, & Thursday 6pm-8
Cafeteria and Kitchen: A fully stocked kitchen to host any event in with an attached cafeteria with many difference seating arrangements possible.
Computer Labs: Two high speed internet functioning computer labs with desktop computers.
Media Center/Library: A bright light area with room for reading, a presentation area and large open space.
Outdoor Playground and Ball Fields: A wonderful play area outside surrounded by ball fields and a paved area.
Event Parking: Paved parking area attached the Hope Center.
Green space: A large 12 acre green space area exists, many acres with adjoining rural views and a short walk to Lake Huron.
Seasonal Outdoor Garden: A herb, vegetable & flower garden. Used for classes and the community.
